Following the successful completion of our “Kobo-readers for wounded soldiers” project (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtYfKvLUudc), our team is continuing its efforts with a new major initiative – COMPUTERS FOR UKRAINE!

About: We aim to collect 3-4 year old computers in Canada and ship them to Ukraine, where our partner volunteers  will install them in orphanages and schools across Ukraine. Furthermore, our volunteers teach kids the basics of computer literacy and conduct programming competitions, seeding the foundations that can allow these children to choose information technology as their future profession.

Your contribution: Please talk to your company or organization about donating their used computers to orphanages and schools in Ukraine. We will take care of all the paperwork for a charitable-donation and logistics.

Who to contact: Please contact Oleksandr Romanko <computer@romanko.ca> to donate.
This project is supported by Ukrainian Canadian Congress-Toronto, Canada Ukraine Foundation, Taras Shevchenko Ukrainian Community Center in Toronto and Volunteer Organization “Charity Initiative”.

Together – let’s build a more prosperous Ukraine!

Thank you!
