The Ukrainian Students’ Club at the University of Toronto is organizing a toy drive/fundraiser to help children and families affected by the war in Ukraine.

The weather is getting colder and the holiday season is nearing – and we would like to ask for your help in sharing a little Christmas spirit with those in need.

The charity Допомога дітям Героїв (Help for Children of Heroes) has asked for donations of toys, school supplies, and encouraging notes of well-wishing for 20 children – aged 1-9.

The non-profit organization Cоюз Українок (Union of Ukrainian Women) of L’viv will help distribute excess donations among charities where supplies are needed as well, including warm clothing for adults.

➤ Until December 13th, we will be collecting:

Heavy check mark Electronics (used computers, monitors..etc.)
*will be used to buy various necessities that are lacking in specific charities – we are working with trustworthy organizations

Smiling face (black and white) Transformers of similar type action figures
Smiling face (black and white) Board games
Smiling face (black and white) Barbie dolls and accompanying accessories
Smiling face (black and white) Jewellery making sets or materials for arts and crafts

* We will try to have photos of the children after they receive their donations to show you your direct impact on their lives!
